The Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET), in collaboration with the College of Cape Town invites unemployed youth to apply for 12 months Learnership Programme 2025.

The Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET), in collaboration with the College of Cape Town, is offering a fully funded 12-month Learnership Programme in Contact Centre and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) Support. This programme is designed for unemployed youth who want to build a career in the Contact Centre and BPO industries.

Programme Details:

  • Qualification: The learnership covers foundational areas of Contact Centre and Business Process Outsourcing Support at NQF Level 3.
  • Duration: 12 months (full-time).
  • Location: College of Cape Town, Gardens Campus.
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00am to 04:00pm.

Minimum Admission Requirements:

To be eligible for this learnership, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  1. Minimum qualification: NQF Level 2 or higher.
  2. Basic computer skills.
  3. Unemployed status.
  4. Age: Between 18 and 34 years old.
  5. Not currently studying at any institution or owing any outstanding fees to the College of Cape Town.
  6. Willing to travel to Gardens Campus 5 days a week (08:00am to 04:00pm).
  7. Must not have participated in a learnership programme before.

  3. Certified copies of your highest qualifications or a statement of results (not older than 3 months).
  4. Certified copy of your identity document (not older than 3 months).
  5. Affidavit stating that you are unemployed.
