- Civil Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Environmental and Water Sciences
- Environmental Management
- Geohydrology
- Hydrology
- Mechanical Engineering
- Project Management
- Water Care
Expenses Covered:
- Tuition fees
- Book allowance
- Stationery allowance
- Accommodation
- Food (as per university guidance)
- Monthly stipend
Service Contract & Selection:
- Bursary recipients must join the Water Learning Academy for up to 3 years after completing their studies.
- Selection based on academic performance, race, gender, financial need, and the Department’s qualification needs.
- Shortlisted candidates will be contacted within 3 months of the bursary closing date.
Eligibility Criteria:
- South African citizen
- Completed or currently in Matric
- Intending to study full-time in 2024 (undergraduate or Honours)
- Entering the first year of study in 2024
- Studying at specified public institutions
- Strong academic record
- Financial need
- Not receiving other funding
