Department of Rural Development and Land Reform Internships Programme

Department of Rural Development and Land Reform (DRDLR) under the Programme Rural Development, invites Unemployed Agricultural Graduates with a three-year diploma or degree in Agriculture who need practical hands-on experience to improve their chances of employment to apply for Agricultural Graduates Programme opportunities that currently exist in the DRDLR Provincial Offices.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Learn from project experiences
  • Analyse project / farm status.
  • Develop project plans for 12 months.
  • Work and liaise between DRDLR, Project owner and other stakeholders.
  • Assist with Planning and execution of project or enterprise management.
  • Research information.
  • Report progress and feedback

Preference will be given to:

    • Applicants who reside within the Local Municipalities and/or Districts where the positions are advertised.
    • Animal Production – Poultry, Crop Production – vegetables including hydroponics, Agricultural Economics.
