Dept of Human Settlements: Bursary 2019 in Kwazulu-Natal
The Department of Human Settlements is offering bursaries to students who are residents of Kwa-Zulu Natal and are interested in pursuing a tertiary qualification in the above mentioned field of studies. Applicants should already have been accepted / provisionally accepted or in the possession of a CAO application receipt. Applicants must be between the ages of 18 – 35 years. The funding is for applicants who are from previously disadvantaged backgrounds and from vulnerable groups. The performance of the applicant will be taken into consideration.

How to Apply
To apply, the following documents are required:
- A completed bursary application form (obtained from the Departmental Website)
- Certified copy of the applicant’s Identity Document and that of parent or guardian
- Certified copy of Matric Certificate or Grade 11 Report
- Proof of income of parent/guardian (payslips, proof of SASSA payout or bank statement not older than 3 months)
- Proof of residence (letter from local leadership, councilor, parent’s/guardian’s utility bill with SAPS affidavit)
- Proof of registration / acceptance letter from the institution of higher learning
- Proof of unemployment from the Department of Labour if parents/guardians are unemployed
