Cape Town is a vibrant port city located on the southwest coast of South Africa, nestled on a stunning peninsula beneath the iconic Table Mountain.
Requirements:
To be eligible for the 2023 Apprenticeship Programme at the City of Cape Town, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Minimum of an NTC 3 technical qualification in fields such as Electrical Trade Theory, Mathematics, Engineering Science, Industrial Electronics, or any other subject in the Heavy current stream with Matric; OR Technical Matric (Grade 12) with subjects including English, Electrical Trade Theory, Mathematics, Physical Science, and any other subject; OR Full NCV 4 Electrical (with 7 subjects).
- A passion for the Electrical Field.
- Reside within the City of Cape Town metropole.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license, preferably Code C1 (old Code 10).
- Not have qualified in any trade by the time of the programme commencement.
- Not in possession of a National S Diploma qualification or higher.
