Job Description:
Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) offers a cleaner position based in Rustenburg. The role focuses on maintaining cleanliness in designated work areas as per the instructions of the Supervising Officer, ensuring adherence to specified methods and cleaning frequencies. The successful candidate will report to the Sales Manager in Rustenburg.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Empty and clean waste bins, transporting waste to collection points.
- Sweep and mop floors, and suction clean carpeted areas.
- Use scrubbing and polishing machines to maintain floors (training provided).
- Dust, damp wipe, wash or polish furniture and surfaces.
- Replenish consumables like soap, toilet rolls, and paper towels.
- Clean toilets, sinks, baths, showers, and drinking fountains.
- Perform deep cleaning of ablutions and clean drains.
- Assist with garden maintenance (e.g., weeding, pruning, cutting lawns).
- Use chemical agents following the Supervising Officer’s directions.
- Wash walls and clean inside windows within safety limits.
- Work alone or in teams as required, and report any issues to supervisors.
Skills, Experience & Education:
- Education: Grade 12 / Matric Qualification.
- Experience: Ideally, experience in an FMCG environment.
- General Skills: Literate and numerate.
