Capitec Bank is currently hiring and welcomes eligible candidates to submit applications for the following employment opportunity: Service Consultant

Purpose Statement:

To enhance the lives of our clients by providing excellent client service, fulfilling and exceeding the client’s needs by using the Global One product offering in order to support our clients to Bank Better and Live Better.

Experience:

Minimum:

  • 3 to 6 months of previous client service experience within a retail, financial, or banking environment.
  • Alternatively, a candidate with a relevant tertiary qualification can be considered if they have no prior experience.

Ideal:

  • More than 1 year of client service experience within a retail, financial, or banking environment.
  • Demonstrated track record of engaging in a sales and client-facing environment.

Qualifications:

Minimum:

  • Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational.

Ideal or Preferred:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Commerce or a similar field.
  • Certification in Finance or Banking.

Knowledge:

Minimum:

  • Knowledge and understanding of:
  • Basic calculations.
  • Retail/consumer service environment.

Ideal:

  • Knowledge and understanding of:
  • Capitec Bank Products.
  • Internal business processes and procedures.
  • Organisational policies, including (but not limited to) the Branch Credit Granting Policy principles (BCGP).

Skills:

  • Communication Skills.
  • Interpersonal & Relationship Management Skills.
  • Computer Literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook).
