Job Purpose

As a Service Consultant at Capitec Bank, your main goal will be to enhance client experiences by providing exceptional service, addressing client needs, and promoting the Global One product offering. Your efforts will help clients bank better and live better.

Requirements

Experience:

• Minimum:
  • 3 to 6 months of client service experience in retail/financial/banking.
  • Consideration given to candidates with a relevant tertiary qualification if no experience.
• Ideal:
  • Over 1 year of client service experience in retail/financial/banking.
  • Proven sales and client interaction experience.

Qualifications:

• Minimum:
  • Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational.
• Ideal:
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Commerce or a related field.
  • Finance or Banking certification.

Knowledge:

• Minimum:
  • Basic calculation skills.
  • Knowledge of retail/consumer service environments.
• Ideal:
  • Familiarity with Capitec Bank products.
  • Understanding of internal business processes and organizational policies.

Skills:

• Communication skills
• Interpersonal & relationship management skills
• Computer literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook)

Conditions of Employment

• Clear criminal and credit record.
• Fingerprints must be detectable/recognizable on Capitec Bank’s internal electronic banking system.
