Purpose Statement

As a Bank Better Champion, you will:

• Welcome clients and manage branch flow through efficient queue functioning.
• Provide excellent client service.
• Assist clients at the ATM and with transactions on any remote or self-service channels.
• Gain the knowledge, skills, and experience required for service consulting.

Experience

Minimum:

• No prior experience is required, but you must hold a Grade 12 National Certificate.

Ideal:

• Some client service experience within a retail, financial, or banking environment.

Qualifications

Minimum:

• Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational

Ideal or Preferred:

• Additional qualifications that enhance your knowledge of bank branch environments and Capitec Bank products and processes.

Knowledge and Skills

Minimum Knowledge:

• Basic calculations
• Engaging with people
• Understanding and clarity of your own aspirations, with a keen desire to learn

Ideal Knowledge:

• Knowledge of bank branch environments
• Familiarity with Capitec Bank products and business processes

Skills:

• Communication skills
• Computer literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook)
• Interpersonal and relationship management skills

Conditions of Employment

• Clear criminal and credit record
• Detectable/recognizable fingerprints on Capitec Bank’s internal electronic banking system
