Job description
CapeTownMagazine.com is Cape Town’s online magazine enabling daily discoveries for everyone – both locally and internationally. From the beginning it has been about “story telling instead of selling”. Now it is about story making. We have room for 1 new marketing intern. Is that you?
As independent and owner driven media company we push harder and work channels smarter, develop strategies that didn’t exist before, and create successes no other has achieved before.
With a strong, tried and tested multichannel approach, we have developed a partnership programme whereby we enable the most unique experiences to be brought out in the biggest way, as well as bringing out the biggest experiences, in the most unique way. A dedicated team of 24/7 go-getters with vast experience in online and digital, we pride ourselves in doing things that work. A large part of this success is tight analysis, reporting and seeing the music in solid preparation. Actions – not words.

- Gather data, interpret and compile partner reports
- Support the selection and connection with new partner projects
- Coordinate and plan partner giveaways
- Plan content and commercial (banner) campaign activations
- Assist with all partner-related content/briefs
- Assist with partner events and activation
- Work it all out to achieve the impossible together and ensure we have good times doing it.
Requirements
The right candidate must have the following:

Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft office and Google products, especially Excel/Sheets and Google docs
- Minimum one-year work experience (online/marketing/sales/admin preferably)
- Sound people skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Organised
- Team player
