C4 EcoSolutions invites unemployed graduates to apply for Internship Programme 2023 / 2024

Internship Location: Cape Town, Western Cape

Are you passionate about climate change development and eager to make a difference? C4 EcoSolutions invites applications for its 2024 Internship Programme, offering intensive training in February and potential positions with the company starting in March 2024.

Training Overview:

  • Global climate finance introduction
  • Ecosystem-based adaptation (EbA)
  • Defining the climate rationale of a project
  • Assessing climate change vulnerabilities
  • Structuring a climate change project for global funds
  • Writing in the appropriate style for UN clients
  • Managing the project development process
  • Introduction to undertaking carbon assessments
  • Assessing the potential for developing carbon projects and available carbon credits

Selection Criteria:

  • Honours or Master’s degree in related disciplines
  • Outstanding English writing ability
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Self-motivated and effective team player
  • Interest in extensive travel across Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the Caribbean
  • Optional: Proficiency in analytical techniques (statistical analysis, R, GIS, remote sensing)
  • Optional: Working proficiency in French, Spanish, and/or Portuguese

Remuneration: Market-related for an internship contract
