Construction Education and Training Authority (CETA) Thapelo Madibeng Bursary towards further studies in 2021 for South African students.

The Construction Education and Training Authority is inviting suitable candidates who are interested in construction related studies to apply for bursary for the year 2021

  • Architecture (BSc degree)
  • Building Arts (BA degree)
  • Civil Engineering (BSc degree)
  • Construction Economics (BSc degree)
  • Construction Management (BSc degree)
  • Construction Studies (BSc degree)
  • Geomatics (BSc degree)
  • Property Development (BSc degree)
  • Quantity Surveying (BSc degree)
  • Urban and Regional Planning (BSc degree)

University of Technology studies:

  • Building (National Diploma)
  • Civil Engineering (National Diploma)
  • Quantity Surveying (National Diploma)
  • Real Estate (National Diploma)
  • Surveying (National Diploma)

TVET College studies:

  • Civil Engineering and Building Construction (National Certificate)

Minimum Requirements

  • Undergraduate and Post graduate candidates can apply
  • Immediate CETA employee family members may not apply
  • Students currently funded through CETA funded entities may not apply
  • Full time students registered with public institution of their choice may apply
  • Applications will only be considered from South African Citizens
  • 60% Grade12 academic achievement with both Mathematics and Physical science at level 5 or more
  • No bursaries will be granted to existing students who are not permitted to the next year of study and have failed more than two subjects
  • Applications from designated groups will be given preference

Submit your application together with the below supporting documents:

  • Certified copy of ID
  • Certified copy of guardian/parents proof of income
  • Letter of acceptance from tertiary institution
  • Full academic history for students already at tertiary
  • Grade 12 June results for matriculants without matric certificate
  • Applications from designated groups will be given preference
  • Affidavit from the commissioner of oath for both parents proof of income
  • Parents proof of income(Parents not earning more than R350k per annum)
