Cecil Renaud Educational and Charitable Trust offers scholarship programme towards further studies in 2021 / 2022 for South African students to study in UK.
The Cecil Renaud scholarship is awarded to the best and brightest young South Africans. The scholarship gives South Africans the opportunity to study at universities across the UK in a number of fields. The scholarship is open to postgraduate students who have completed or are currently studying towards an Honours degree; or a four-year undergraduate degree.
Requirements:
- Excellent academic record – undergraduate or Honours degree(s) cum laude or summa cum laude; and additionally, Dean’s Commendations and Certificates of Merit or equivalent.
- Studying at a South African university
- Attended secondary school in KZN
- Be under the age of 27 when applying for this school
NB. Candidates should display qualities of leadership, focus, stamina and leadership.
How to apply
The following must accompany this application:
- A certified copy of your birth certificate.
- Certified evidence of both courses and degrees (if any) showing the classes, standards and distinctions etc obtained in all examinations incidental to the courses and degrees.
- Degree certificates.
- A Curriculum Vitae.
- A signed statement as to general interests and activities, the course of study to be followed at the preferred university in the United Kingdom, your reason for selecting that university, and the character of work you intend to do after completion of your studies.
- A motivation as to why you believe you should be selected for this scholarship.
- A passport size photograph.
