Fields of Study:
- Planning: Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Quantity Surveyors, Town and Regional Planning, Facilities Management, Building, Architecture, Land Surveying.
- Scientific Fields: Microbiology, Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry.
- Finance: Economics, Accounting.

Who Can Apply:
- Applicants must be bona fide residents of the Buffalo City Metropolitan Municipality.
- Applicants must be South African citizens permanently residing in the Buffalo City Metropolitan Municipality.
- Proof of residence within the municipality is required when applying for the bursary.
- Applicants must provide proof of their family household income.
Selection Criteria:
- Applicants must have a Matric with at least a D (50-59%) in English and a C (60-69%) in Maths, Accounting, and Physical Science OR an NCV Level 4 Certificate with Mathematics.
- Selection is based strictly on academic merit.
- Successful applicants can renew their bursaries annually based on their academic performance in the previous year.
- The bursary program prioritizes underprivileged individuals and targets young people aged 14 to 35.
- The Municipality is committed to Employment Equity, including persons with disabilities, and encourages students with disabilities to apply.
