The establishment of the Border Management Authority (BMA) was facilitated by the Border Management Authority Act (No. 2 of 2020), signed into law in July 2020. BMA invites qualified interns to apply for the following positions.
Requirements:
– Age requirement: not older than 35 years old.
– No formal work experience required.

1. INTERN: DIGITAL CONTENT CREATOR (REF NO: 1/02/2024)
– Duration: Twelve (12) Months Contract
– Centre: BMA Head Office, Pretoria
– Stipend: R7000.00 for a degree holder, R6000 for a diploma holder

– Requirements: Grade 12 Certificate, a three-year qualification (NQF level 6 or 7) in Graphic Design.
Duties:
– Design and create digital/print content.
– Website design and editing.
– Multimedia and basic gamification designs.
– Conceptualize ideas, create designs, and infographics.
– Operate in a cross-functional design environment.
– Create design videos.
2. INTERN: ICT TECHNICAL SUPPORT X2 (REF NO: 2/02/2024)
– Duration: Twelve (12) Months Contract
– Centre: BMA Head Office, Pretoria
– Stipend: R7000.00 for a degree holder, R6000 for a diploma holder

– Requirements: Grade 12 Certificate, Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology or related field (NQF level 6 or 7).
Duties:
– Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and incident management.
– Support the ICT team in oversight of services.
3. INTERN: ICT APPLICATIONS & SYSTEMS DEVELOPMENT X2 (REF NO: 3/02/2024)
– Duration:Twelve (12) Months Contract
– Centre: BMA Head Office, Pretoria
– Stipend: R7000.00 for a degree holder, R6000 for a diploma holder

Duties:
– Develop and implement BMA’s applications and systems.
– Participate in Project Management activities.
