Our Cape Town Transport Unit is looking for a dynamic young Graduate Engineer to fulfill an Assistant Supervisory role on a 7 month Geotechnical project between Great Brak and Plettenberg Bay
Qualification Requirements:
- BEng or BSc Civil Engineering – Geotechnical Engineering would be an advantage
Experience:
- Elementary experience in Geotechnical Investigations, Road Pavement or Material Investigations
- Experience in configuration and operation of “cloud based” digital data collection techniques would be advantageous
Knowledge:
- An understanding of engineering infrastructure, especially construction and supervision thereof
- Report writing skills
- A valid driver’s licence (own transport beneficial)
- Analytical ability
- Good communication and interaction skills
- Good command of the English language
- MS Office (especially Word & Excel)
- Advanced Excel and MS Access experience (writing macro’s etc.)
This position is based in Cape Town – no relocation assistance will be provided
