ArceloeMittal South Africa is offering opportunities for Grade 12 learners to be trained as Process Operators at its Sladanha Works.

Successful Candidates will enter a 12 – 18 months production training contract, focusing on the steel manufacturing proces. The training programme is based on a structured outcome based approach which includes institutional and on the job training. Regular assessment and progress monitoring will form an integral part of the Learnership Programme.

Applicants need to be in possession of the following qualifications:

  • A complete Grade 12 qualification with the following qualifications:
  • English 45%, Mathematics 45% or Mathematics Literacy 45%.

Previous exposure to heavy industry will be an advantage. A contractual training agreement will apply.

The bursary includes specified training cost, PPE, payment of institutional training, personal insurance as well as bursary allowance . Permanent employment on completion of trade test is not guaranteed.
