However, late applications will be accepted until 30 November, albeit with an additional fee determined by the CAO.

For those applying to specific faculties or programmes, take note of the following closing dates:

  • Faculty of Engineering:
    • First Semester Applications: 30 September
    • Second Semester Applications: 31 May
  • Faculty of Natural Sciences:
    • General Applications: 30 September
    • Analytical Chemistry (Second Semester): 31 May
  • Faculty of Management Sciences:
    • General Applications: 30 September

Meeting Minimum Subject Requirements

To qualify for admission to MUT, applicants must meet the minimum subject requirements specified by their chosen faculty. Here’s a breakdown of the minimum subject requirements for each faculty:

  • Faculty of Management Sciences:
    • English, Maths, and Accounting: 50% and above
  • Faculty of Engineering:
    • English, Maths, and Physics: 50% and above
  • Faculty of Natural Sciences:
    • English, Maths, Physical Science, Agricultural Science, or Life Sciences: 50% and above

Additionally, all programmes require a minimum of 25 points, with further departmental screening processes in place for certain programmes.
