Apply for Shoprite Bursaries 2024

Shoprite invites South African students to apply for Bursary Programme for the academic year 2024.

Bursary application closing date: 30 September 2024

Bursaries will be awarded for studies within the following fields:

The bursary will provide cover for the following expenses: tuition fees, books and an allowance for accommodation. The value of the bursary will range between R30 000 and R60 000, dependent on the field of study and the institution.

After graduation, bursary recipients will be required to work for Shoprite. The work back obligation is 1 year of employment for each year of funding received.

Shortlisted candidates will be contacted within 30 days of the application deadline – should you not receive feedback by this time, please regard your application as unsuccessful.Internal candidates will receive first consideration before external applications are reviewed (per Shoprite’s Employment Equity goals).
