Anglo-American invites South African unemployed graduates to apply for Metallurgical Engineer Graduate Internship Programme 2023 / 2024.

Internship Location: Northwest (Rustenburg) and Limpopo (Burgersfort, Steelpoort, Mokopane, Polokwane, Thabazimbi and Northam).
As a Graduate: Metallurgical Engineer, you will support the effective technical operation of a plant, identify new methods to improve the plant technical process, and engage with relevant departments as necessary, amongst other things.
This is an exciting opportunity for graduates who want to have a smarter future within mining. Initially, you will be offered a three-year graduate programme with our Southern Africa Business Unit rotating to two or more of our Platinum sites where possible. (Three twelve-month placements). You have the chance to make a difference in real projects and follow a structured learning development journey.

Be available/willing to work in remote areas of South Africa as part of the Graduate Programme such as Northwest (Rustenburg) and Limpopo (Burgersfort, Steelpoort, Mokopane, Polokwane, Thabazimbi and Northam).
To qualify for the Anglo-American Graduate Programme, you must:
- Have a postgraduate degree BEng/ BSc degree in Metallurgy/ post graduate Chemical Engineering and BTech Chemical/Metallurgical Engineering with BSc Hons (Metallurgy/Chemical Eng)
- Have completed your Honours degree or are due to graduate/complete by December 2023.
- Have no more than two years of relevant work experience.
- Be a team player with strong leadership potential.
- Demonstrate drive, ambition, and a passion for challenging work in our operations.
- Northwest (Rustenburg) and Limpopo (Burgersfort, Steelpoort, Mokopane, Polokwane, Thabazimbi and Northam).
- This role requires a high level of mobility, you are encouraged to obtain a driver’s license.
