The Automotive Industry Development Centre Eastern Cape (AIDC-EC) invites South African unemployed graduates to apply for Project Management Graduate / Internship Programme 2022 / 2023.

INTERNSHIP – PROJECT MANAGEMENT x 1 (12 MONTHS CONTRACT)
The purpose of this 12-month Internship is to provide an aspiring project management professional looking to work on business-critical projects and gain relevant work experience.
The successful interns will be placed in the Gqeberha office and report to the Executive Manager: Project Management Unit
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
You will learn:
- Use different PM technologies and tools to support the delivery of high-quality projects
- Adapt different approaches depending on project requirements Accomplish complex business projects and cooperate with international clients, partners, and stakeholders
- Assist the management in developing, tracking, updating, and writing reports on project progress to stakeholders
- Identify and manage scope, constraints, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and deadlines
- Effectively manage and monitor the project team, manage costs, and track performance targets
- Attend events and team meetings to record action items and next steps
- Prepare complex reports with vital project information
- Present our solutions to clients as well as contribute to client proposals and quotes
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Holds a relevant Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma
- Driver’s License advantageous.
KNOWLEDGE
- Strong communication skills with the ability to discuss any issues with a wide variety of individuals and groups
- Capability to produce content on time, with attention to detail, and an emphasis on identifying and pitching to a target audience
- A well-organized team player with the ability to perform various tasks, act individually, and think creatively
- Familiarity with Microsoft applications, project management and development applications and methodologies
- Willingness to learn and develop project management skills
- Competitive and proactive attitude
- Fluency and experience in technology and its future in the automotive industry.
- Fluency in English
REQUIRED SKILL
- Proficiency in MS Office, i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Proficiency in the Project Management Life Cycle.
