Job Description
As an Electrical Apprentice, you will:
- Work closely with an experienced Electrician to learn maintenance and fault-finding techniques.
- Gain hands-on experience in cable reticulation, industrial and domestic electrical installations, and motor circuits.
- Learn to test and commission new electrical equipment.
- Develop skills in the efficient use of power tools and hand tools.
- Follow AECI’s safety standards and codes of practice.
Qualifications & Experience
- Educational Requirements: Matric / Grade 12.
- Technical Requirement: N3 qualification is necessary for trade test eligibility.
- Additional Advantages:
- A valid driver’s license.
- Prior electrical experience.
- Familiarity with hand and power tools.
- Strong safety awareness.
