Wits University Registration 2016

Registration takes place from 11 January 2016 until 3 February 2016.

Register online at https://self-service.wits.ac.za/

To make the registration process more convenient for you, some students will be able to register online at Home while others will have to register at Wits at the assisted online registration venues on campus. Registered students can now apply online for parking permits and sign up for various clubs and societies online. Please check the faculty and check list boxes below carefully to see which one applies to you and then click to follow the registration instructions.

@Wits

For programmes that requires curriculum planning and if you need counselling /advice, you may enroll at Wits at the assisted online enrolment venue: Hall 29 (West Campus, Braamfontein). Please see Faculty Enrolment dates below.

ALL International students to enrol @Wits.

WHAT TO BRING

  • Your ID/Passport
  • Proof of payment (upfront fee)
  • Clearance certificate for international students

@Home

Based on your programme of study, you will be able to enrol at home. Should you encounter any problems during your Enrolment, please contact the University call centre at 011-717 1888 between 08h30-16h30, weekdays only, for assistance. Should you require counselling/ advice you may enrol @Wits at the assisted online Enrolment venue on the Faculty dates indicated below.

If you are a New to Wits First Year student, you will still have to come on your designated Faculty registration date to collect

  • your student access card,
  • Parking Permit (if applicable) and
  • Information Bag.

If you are a returning student, you may activate/ collect your Kudu Card and parking permit (where applicable) on any weekday (8h30-15h30) at Hall 29 from the 11 January – 3 February. Or at the Kudu Card offices and parking offices in Senate House from the 4 February.
