UFS Online Registration 2025: Key Dates
Mark your calendars! Here are the important registration dates for 2025 at University of the Free State (UFS):
1. Online Registration for All Students
- Period: 7 January – 7 February 2025
- This is the main registration period for all students, including first-year, senior, and postgraduate students. Ensure you complete your registration before the deadline to avoid complications.
2. Curriculum Advice and Registration for First-Year Students
- Period: 27 January – 7 February 2025
- First-year students must attend curriculum advice sessions before registering. This helps you understand your course options and the best path for your academic career.
3. Curriculum Advice and Registration for Senior Students
- Period: 20 January – 7 February 2025
- Returning students (senior students) will also need to attend curriculum advice sessions if necessary before proceeding with registration.
4. Curriculum Advice and Registration for Postgraduate Students
- Period: 20 January – 7 February 2025
- Postgraduate students must also attend curriculum advice sessions during this period to ensure they register correctly for their master’s, doctoral, or other postgraduate programs.
How to Register Online for UFS 2025
The process for registering at UFS is easy and can be done online. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to complete your registration for 2025:
Step 1: Visit the UFS Registration Portal
- Go to the official UFS registration page: UFS Online Registration Portal.
Step 2: Log In with Your Student Details
- If you’re a first-time student, you’ll need to use your student number and PIN (which was sent to you after acceptance).
- If you’re a returning student, log in with your existing credentials.
Step 3: Review Personal Information
- Make sure your personal details are up to date. This includes your contact information, address, and program choices. For first-year students, check that your chosen course and study program are correctly listed.
Step 4: Curriculum Advice (if applicable)
- If you are a first-year student, make sure to attend the curriculum advice session (from 27 January – 7 February 2025). This will guide you in selecting the correct courses for your degree.
- Senior and postgraduate students may also need to attend curriculum advice if they need guidance on course selection.
Step 5: Choose Your Modules
