Position Overview:
SASSA is looking to fill 4 Grants Administrator positions in different districts of Mpumalanga. These roles are essential in assisting with the administration of social grants at the local office level, ensuring that grant applications are processed efficiently and effectively, and that customer care standards are maintained.
Salary Range:
R216,417 – R254,928 per annum (exclusive of benefits)

Key Responsibilities:
As a Grants Administrator, you will:
- Assist with the administration of social grants at the local office level.
- Screen grant applications effectively to ensure all necessary documentation is provided.
- Capture and process applications on the relevant system.
- Provide customer care and assist applicants with their grant-related queries.
- Process other grant documentation and perform various administrative functions.
- Conduct quality control checks on grant applications to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Ensure adherence to Section 57 of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA, Chapter 6, Part 3).
Minimum Requirements:
- Senior Certificate (NQF Level 4).
- Computer literacy is essential.
Added Advantage:
- A valid driver’s license is a bonus.
- Previous administrative or clerical experience is preferred.
