Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the COGHSTA Internship Programme, applicants must:
- Be South African citizens residing in the Northern Cape Province.
- Be between the ages of 18 and 35.
- Hold the relevant qualifications for the positions they are applying for. Applicants awaiting their final qualifications should provide academic transcripts or letters confirming the completion of their studies.
- Possess strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Have a valid South African driver’s license.
Internship Benefits
Interns will be provided with a stipend of R7,450.75 per month for the duration of the 24-month programme. This stipend complies with the standards set by the Department of Public Service and Administration (DPSA). Successful candidates will be stationed at the Larry Moleko Louw Building in Kimberley, Northern Cape, and may work within the Chief Directorate of Human Settlements or the Directorate of Traditional Affairs.
