SAFCOL Learnership Opportunities 2024 / 2025

South African Forestry Company SOC Limited (SAFCOL) invites unemployed youth to apply for Learnership Programme 2024 / 2025.

Learnership Location: Sabie, South Africa

Learnership Application Closing Date: 09 October 2024

SAFCOL invites unemployed youth aged 18 to 35 who wish to pursue a career in Forestry to apply for a 10-month learnership program. Successful applicants will engage in a formal and structured Learnership Program (NQF Level 3), which includes accredited theoretical and practical training.

A monthly stipend will be provided for the duration of the learnership. Upon successful completion, learners will receive a nationally recognized qualification: National Certificate in Forestry (NQF Level 3). This program will equip them with the knowledge and experience to enhance their employment prospects with forestry companies and contractors, or to establish their own SMME.

The following Learnerships are open for applications:

  • Silviculture Learnership
  • Mechanized Harvesting Learnership
  • General Forestry Learnership

Requirements:

  • Must be a South African Citizen
  • Must be an unemployed youth ages (18 to 35)
  • Must have successfully passed Matric (Grade 12)
  • Must have passion for forestry environment and able to work outdoors
