Sasol is inviting applications for the position of Mining General Worker!
Location: Secunda, Mpumalanga.

This position supports the Maintenance Team in ensuring reliable and efficient equipment maintenance to improve stability and sustainability.
Purpose of the Job:
The Maintenance Operator will assist the team by performing maintenance tasks, adhering to safety procedures and operational codes, and ensuring that equipment is maintained efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete job-specific tasks/checklists accurately.
- Conduct visual inspections of the environment, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and report unsafe conditions.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Codes of Practice (COPs) to maintain housekeeping standards.
- Collaborate effectively within the team to achieve team goals.
- Be mindful of costs and act on cost-saving initiatives.
- Report task activities and assist artisans with daily tasks.
Job Requirements:
- Qualifications: Grade 12/N3
- Advantage:
- Maths & Science
- Valid Driver’s License
- Knowledge of the mining industry
- 12 months of plant experience, especially with conveyors
