Limpopo Dept of Public Works, Roads and Infrastructure: Bursaries 2024
The Limpopo Department of Public Works, Roads and Infrastructure invite students to submit applications for the Bursary Programme for the academic year 2024.
Bursary application closing date is 29 February 2024.
The Limpopo Department of Public Works, Roads and Infrastructure is responsible for provincial government building and roads infrastructure, land and government properties. As a major public sector stakeholder in the built environment, the department also aides in building a pool of skilled personnel for the construction industry in the province by providing opportunities to tertiary level students who would like to pursue studies within the buit environment.
For the 2024 Academic year, the department wishes to invite applications from South African Citizens, residing in the Limpopo Province and across all race groups with emphasis to previously disadvantaged
groups and people with disabilities interested in studying the following:
- Ouantity Surveying
- Town and Regional Planning
- Building Engineering/Science
- Civil Engineering
- Architectural Science
- Landscaping/Horticulture
- Construction Management
- Property Science/Real Estate
- Mechanical Engineering
- Land Surveying
- Electrical Engineering
The bursary will cover: –
- Registration
- Accommodation at the University and or accredited student residences
- Tuition
- Prescribed Books
- Meals at the University
How to apply
Application forms can be collected at the Provincial Department of Public Works. Roads and Infrastructure Office and or its District Offices, and be returned with the following accompanying documents:
- Valid South African Identity Document (certified copy)
- Proof of residence
- Parents /guardian proof of Income/Affidavit if not Working or without
parents. - Matric results
Acceptance letter from Any SAQA registered Tertiary Institution in South Africa for the Course applied for.
