Who is Wiseman Mncube?

Wiseman Mncube is a talented South African actor, playwright, and director. He is best known for his role as Mfanufikile in the e.tv drama series “The Kingdom – uKhakhayi.” This role marked his first starring role in television, earning him recognition in the South African entertainment industry. Before his breakthrough in television, Wiseman Mncube appeared in the e.tv telenovela “Gold Diggers,” where he was credited with two different roles. Primarily a theater actor, Wiseman has an extensive background in stage productions. He graduated with a diploma in Drama from Durban University of Technology in 2011. Some of the notable stage productions he has been involved in include “Nothing But the Truth,” “Horn of Sorrow,” “Meet Bro Six Two,” “Culture Clash,” “Amambazo The Musical,” “Have We Been Heard,” and “Mashu the Musical.” Notably, his play “The Weeping Candle” received recognition and awards. It won the Best Production and Best Script Awards at Khaya Multi-Art Centre in KwaMashu during the isiGcawu Festival in November 2012. The play was later staged at the Stable Theatre in Durban.
