Internship Location: Centurion, Gauteng, South Africa

Position Title: Marketing Information Systems Intern

Duration: 12 months contract

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, document, and analyze business requirements related to technology solutions.
• Assist in designing and developing technical solutions that align with business goals and processes.
• Support in testing and quality assurance of software applications, ensuring they meet business requirements.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation, and work towards optimizing workflows.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest technology trends and contribute insights to improve our IT strategies.
• Assist in developing and executing marketing campaigns across digital channels, such as social media, email marketing, and content creation.
• Analyze marketing data and metrics to evaluate campaign effectiveness and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging content, including blog posts, social media content, and visuals.
• Help in monitoring and managing our brand’s online presence, ensuring consistency and positive customer experiences.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop innovative marketing strategies that incorporate technology trends.
• Collect and analyze data from various sources to extract meaningful insights that inform both IT and marketing strategies.
• Create reports and presentations that communicate key findings, trends, and recommendations to stakeholders.

Requirements:

National Diploma / Degree in:

• Information Technology,
• Business Administration,
• Marketing,
• or a related field.

Skills and Competencies:

• Interpersonal skills
• Internal and External communication skills
• Strong interest in both technology and marketing, with a desire to learn how these disciplines intersect.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts and marketing ideas.
• Proficiency in using tools such as Microsoft Office, Google Analytics, CRM systems, and data visualization tools.
