Gauteng Department of Education (GDE) Admission for Grade 1 and Grade 8: Online Application for 2022 academic year set to open in August 2021 (Grade 8) and September 2021 (Grade 1).

GDE Application dates:

• Grade 8 learners will open from 10 August 2021 to 3 September 2021 – while Grade 1 applications will open from 13 September 2021.

How to apply

Parents or legal guardians can log on to the system at www.gdeadmissions.gov.za and follow these easy steps:

STEP 3: Apply to a school with available space
