City of Johannesburg Metropolitan Municipality invites unemployed graduates to apply for Graduate / Internship Programme 2021.
Internship Application Closing Date: 10 June 2021
Internship Location: Johannesburg, Gauteng
This internship programme is an intervention by the City of Johannesburg to address the growing demand by tertiary institution for students to undergo on-the-job exposure, as a pre-requisite to acquire an academic qualification or as a requirement after the acquisition of an academic qualification.
The City of Johannesburg has the following Internship opportunities available for a period NOT exceeding eighteen (18) months.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 / Matric;
- Computer literacy;
- Must be able to work extended hours as and when required;
- Ages between 18 – 35 years; and
- Only City of Joburg residents will be considered
The following Internship Opportunities are open for applications:
Waste Management & Regulations Interns
- Diploma in Administration or equivalent qualification
- Or currently enrolled for a Diploma in Administration or equivalent qualification;
NB. If currently enrolled submit an enrolment letter at current tertiary institution;
Administration Interns
Diploma (NQF level 6) in:
- Administration
- Public Administration
- Business Management;
Quality Control Interns
Must have a Diploma or Currently enrolled in:
- Transport Management (NQF level 6)
- Logistic Management (NQF level 6)
NB. If currently enrolled submit an enrolment letter at current tertiary institution;
Alexandra Renewal Projects Interns
Tertiary TVET qualification in:
- Business Administration / Management
- Public Administration
- or related NQF level 5 qualification.
IT Interns
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Diploma / Degree in: Information Technology or equivalent qualifications registered at NQF LEVEL 6/7
