Independent Schools Association of Southern Africa (ISASA): Teachers Internships 2020

Independent Schools Association of Southern Africa (ISASA) invites candidates to apply for Teachers Internship Programme for 2020 / 2021.

Internship Application Closing Date: 10 July, 25 July and 1 August 2020

Location: South Africa

An opportunity exists for young teachers-in-training to gain valuable
experience on our Academic Intern Programme in 2021. The successful
applicant should be committed to a career in education and should be
studying towards a Bachelor of Education degree or another degree, with
the aim of obtaining a PGCE.

Interns are involved in all aspects of school life, including:

  • activities within the selected subject departments;
  • assisting/ teaching in the classroom;
  • assisting with Electives and the Clubs and Cultural programme;
  • performing boarding house, Knowledge Centre and San duties;
  • performing various ad hoc duties as required.

Kearsney College: Academic Internship Positions 2021

  • Should be studying towards a Bachelor of Education degree or another degree, with the aim of obtaining a PGCE.
  • Should be committed to a career in education

Closing date: 01 August 2020


Clifton Preparatory School: Learner Teacher Internship Programme 2021

  • Passionate about working with young children
  • Enrolled as a Bachelor of Education student or another appropriate
    qualification with an aim to teach (with an accredited distance learning
    institution)
  • Have a valid driver’s licence
  • Are willing and able to participate in the schools extra-curricular programme

Closing date: 25 July 2020


Nova Pioneer: Intern Educational Psychologist 2021

  • Have completed or be nearing completion of an accredited master’s
    degree in educational psychology (no time will be given for completion
    of course work)
  • Be registered with the HPCSA as an intern psychologist by January 2021
  • Have an individualized internship programme that has been approved by the Professional Board for Psychology by December 2020
  • Be contracted to an external clinical supervisor
  • Be willing and able to work on different campuses of the school
