Introduction
This position is responsible for assisting in a broad range of biorepository activities needed to manage the life-cycle of biological specimens. Duties include processing, distribution, retrieval and storage of biospecimens.

Requirements
MINIMAL QUALIFICATIONS
1.BSc/BTech degree or equivalent in a Life sciences field
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
1.6 months practical laboratory experience dealing with human biological samples
2.Good organizational and communication skills
3.High level of computer literacy
4.Valid Driver’s licence with own vehicle
KNOWLEDGE
1.Knowledge of the scientific research processes
ADVANTAGES
1.GCLP or ISO15189 certification will be advantageous
2.Experience working on the laboratory information management system
3.Experience in a clinical research laboratory setting would be advantageous
4.PBMC processing techniques (advantageous)
5.Experience working with ultra-low temperature storage equipment and facilities (highly advantageous)
