  • You must be a South African citizen and have completed an undergraduate degree or honours degree in any of the above mentioned fields of studies: Economics, finance, accounting, risk management, law, political science, international relations, labour, supply chain management, information technology or actuarial sciences.

Detailed Description

As a SARB graduate, you will work at the SARB Head Office in Pretoria from January to December 2018. During the year, you will attend courses in central bank studies – policy, regulation and financial markets – as well as personal and professional studies such as making presentations, impactful reporting, data analysis, teamwork and diplomacy.

The SARB serves the economic well-being of South Africans through maintaining price and financial stability. It is responsible for the regulation of the South African financial sector, design and distribution of banknotes and coin, management of interest rates, setting the cash reserve requirement for banks, and ensuring stability of both the banking sector and the wider financial system.
