 Cederberg Municipality: Bursaries 2017 in Western Cape

The Cederberg Municipality invites qualifying students within its jurisdiction to apply for Bursaries 2017. The Cederberg Municipality will endeavour to assist students with a registration fees for full-time studies at approved tertiary institutions. This opportunity is offered to persons residing in the Cederberg Municipal area. Please be advised that you must be registered or in the process of registering for an undergraduate/postgraduate degree/diploma/certificate in one of the following fields of study in 2017.

Bursary Location: Citrusdal, Clanwilliam, Graafwater, Lamberts Bay, Elands Bay and Wupperthal in Western Cape

The areas of study includes, but is not limited to the following:
  • Artisans;
  • Accounting
  • Auditing;
  • Building Development;
  • City, Town and Regional Planning;
  • Civil Engineering;
  • Cost and Management Accounting;
  • Financial Management
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Facilities Management
  • Geographic Information Systems
  • Information Technology;
  • Information Systems Auditing;
  • Land Surveying;
  • Library and Information Science
  • Law;
  • Materials and Road Pavement Engineering;
  • Plumbing;
  • Town and Regional Planning;
  • Transportation and Traffic Engineering;
  • Urban Design; and Urban Development Planning and Management;
  • Bachelor of Commerce;
  • Environmental Science;
  • Water Management;
The Municipality would give preference to the listed study areas, but would not exclude any applicants who wish to apply for a study area not listed. Each and every application will be evaluated on its merit.
The fields of study for which bursaries are awarded may change to suit the needs of the Cederberg Municipality. Preference will be given to students at advanced levels of study. Students must comply with the entry requirements of academic institutions. The Municipality’s terms and conditions will apply in allocation and withdrawal of the bursaries.
