Tracker Connect invites unemployed youth to apply for Installation Technician Work Integrated Learning / Learnership Programme 2024 / 2025.

Learnership Location: Randburg, Guateng, South Africa

Responsibilities

  • Installations: Follow set standards to install electronic equipment in vehicles.
  • Documentation: Complete relevant paperwork for each installation.
  • Schedule Adherence: Ensure timely completion of installations based on a pre-determined schedule.
  • Customer Service: Provide customer service according to company standards.
  • Asset Responsibility: Take care of company-issued assets.

Minimum Requirements

  • Educational Background:
    • Studying towards a qualification in Electrical Engineering or related fields (e.g., Autotronics, Auto Electrical, Electrical Engineering N3).
    • A letter from a University/TVET College confirming the need for workplace exposure to complete the qualification.
  • Experience:
    • No prior formal work experience required.
    • No prior experience in a technical-related programme.
  • Other Criteria:
    • Unemployed status.
    • Willingness to travel for related coursework.
    • Age between 18 and 35 years.
    • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work under pressure.
    • A valid driver’s license.
    • Computer literacy (MS Office) is advantageous.
    • Independent thinking, logic, and reasoning skills are key.
