- Position: Finance Interns (X2)
- Salary: R100,000 per annum
- Duration: 24-Month Contract
About the Internship:
The Greater Letaba Municipality is offering an exciting internship opportunity for unemployed graduates in the field of finance. This 24-month internship is aimed at providing practical experience and training in municipal finance, with exposure to the Municipal Finance Management Act (MFMA), GRAP Standards, and other financial policies and procedures within the Budget and Treasury Office.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma in Accounting, Auditing, or an equivalent finance-related qualification.
- The candidate must be unemployed and should not have participated in a similar internship before.
Responsibilities:
- Sign an internship agreement upon selection.
- Participate in structured professional training and work experience in the municipal Budget and Treasury Office.
- Gain practical exposure to the MFMA, GRAP Standards, and relevant policies and procedures.
- The programme will end with the awarding of the Municipal Finance Management Programme (MFMP) Certificate.
